Performance Marketing Specialist (m/w/d)

easycosmetic is looking for a hands-on addition to our Performance Marketing team. This is not a coordination role – we’re looking for someone who works directly in the accounts, tests hypotheses, and delivers results.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and optimize campaigns
You work directly in Google Ads and Meta Ads, create campaign structures, test audiences, and optimize for ROAS, CPA, and conversion rate. - Manage external performance partners
You oversee and optimize channels such as idealo, billiger.de, Criteo, and similar platforms. You analyze their performance, allocate budgets, and identify optimization potential. - Analyze ad performance
You evaluate which creatives perform best and provide data-driven feedback to the design team. You understand that Meta Andromeda requires a creative-first approach and act accordingly. - Use and challenge AI systems
You work with algorithmic recommendations (e.g., Smart Bidding, automated audiences), but you don’t follow them blindly. You assess what works and what doesn’t. - Identify automation opportunities
When a process is repetitive, you spot it and suggest improvements. Whether you build solutions yourself using tools like n8n or scripts, or collaborate with our internal AI team – you don’t tolerate inefficiencies. - Keep performance in focus
You know which metrics matter and track your results. Whether you build your own dashboards or define requirements for our BI team, you work in a data-driven way and derive actionable insights. - Collaborate with other teams
You work closely with Content, Social Media, and Email Marketing. For technical implementations, you have direct access to our AI, BI, and Software Development teams.
Your Profile
Professional Skills
- Several years of hands-on experience in performance marketing (ideally in e-commerce)
- Strong expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads – you have built and optimized campaigns yourself
- Understanding of AI-driven advertising systems (Meta Andromeda, Smart Bidding, Advantage+)
- Confident handling of performance KPIs and data-driven optimization

Nice to Have
- Experience with price comparison platforms (idealo, billiger.de) and retargeting networks (Criteo)
- Experience with automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier) – a plus, not a must
- Basic knowledge of scripting or API usage
- Experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry
